We are looking for an Executive Chef to Klaus K Hotel

In Klaus K Hotel we have well known and beloved Italian restaurant Toscanini offering tasty delicious Italian food, different kinds of meeting and event premises from smaller meeting rooms to Studio K club and Rake event Hall, serving Guests in various forms including conference lunches, coffee servings with snacks and sweets as well as banquet servings for larger parties. We have altogether 171 hotel rooms to accommodate our Guests and we serve them every morning a wholesome selection of breakfast foods. As Executive Chef you are in charge of all the kitchen operations, so you have free hands to develop and show your passion and talents making our Guests remember their stay by the delicacies we offer in every department of Klaus K.
The position involves responsibilities for:
- Responsibility for forecasts, costs and performance in kitchen operations.
- Working together with our staff to create an unforgettable experience for our guests.
- Responsibility and day-to-day management over performance and operational as well as end product quality in kitchen operations. Responsibility for hygiene and association with the authorities.
The position involves:
- You are experienced hospitality professional, knowledge of Italian cuisine is a plus but not mandatory.
- Leadership to guide, train and lead your team to achive targets and Guest satisfaction every day.
- Together with our General Manager and F&B Manager working continuously to update and develop concepts within the area of responsibility, adapted for the hotel’s target groups.
- Analyzing the performance trends for the departments and proactively drawing up activity plans.
- Staff responsibility for the above departments, which involves recruitments, efficient scheduling, training and further development of staff, working environment and making sure that the right tools are available to achieve defined goals.
- You are strong developer as well as performer - in this position you have full responsibility to develop unique and cuisine-appropriate menus to keep Toscanini and other departments servings on high level.
In this position you are part of the management team of the hotel. Fluent English language skill is mandatory, as our kitchen team is multicultural. When joining to our team, you´ll receive all Strawberry employee benefits and of course great colleagues.
