We are looking for a motivated and talented Inventory Control to join our growing team.

This is not a remote position.

Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Production Manager and the Operations Manager, the inventory control specialist is responsible for the overall accuracy of Broadata’s inventory and is an essential role in maintaining outside service levels. By completing cycle counts, physical inventories, and controlling inventory accuracy, this role will help identify BCI’s initiatives and aid in maintaining key performance indicators. This position works alongside Purchasing and Operation Managers to investigate inventory discrepancies and promote the importance of maintaining a robust, accurate inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and document cycle count schedule for the year, including year-end auditing.
  • Count, research, and correct variances to accurately reflect current inventory levels.
  • Maintain inventory and perform kitting for production projects per established company procedures
  • Prepare reports such as inventory balance, kit completeness, and shortages, using BCI’s MRP Sage and/or Excel
  • Record inventory activity within BCI’s MRP Sage databases; complete daily transactions and link them to the appropriate departments; assist supervisors with inventory replenishing tasks.
  • Sort, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory
  • Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
  • Maintain database and prepare routine reports
  • Work closely with production, planning, and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted material flow and to effectively manage material demand
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ year in a warehouse or similar setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in inventory control within an electronics production environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately count and label items
  • Ability to kit from the manufacturing kit list.
  • Successful candidate must be able to lift and carry weight unassisted not exceeding 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of material processing utilizing an ERP system preferred (hands-on experience with Sage ERP system is a plus)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with others
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.

Salary Range:

$21 - $26 per hour
