Seamar Management SA, a Ship Management Company listed in Nasdaq, managing an expanding fleet of Dry-bulk carriers, seeks an IT Manager having at least 3 years’ experience in similar position with VMWare / Windows Server 2016/2012 R2/ 2008 R2 / Exchange 2016 / SQL 2008R2 / Terminal services / IBM storage / Benefit ERP / Vessel telecommunication.
Responsibilities will include:
- Networks management and support of ERP System
- Planning and managing IT systems and communications systems as well as attendances onboard
- 1st & 2nd level IT support services to the managed vessels via telephone r remote connection
- Installation or replacement / improvement of IT infrastructure and Vessel communications (VSAT, FBB, Certus) infrastructure onboard vessels
- Training vessel crew in the correct use and maintenance of IT systems onboard vessels
- Liaison with third-party software vendors on support and development issues
- Performance of scheduled maintenance and ad hoc repairs to LAN network on-board vessels as well as vessel infrastructure ashore
- Participation in projects and assistance in the development of new IT solutions for use on our fleet

- Cybersecurity Related Tasks
- Virtual Infrastructure Management and Backups
- Management of Active Directory, Group Policies, and rest parameters of the window-based environment.
